It's crazy what a culture change can do to a team. Just a few weeks ago, the Las Vegas Raiders were the epitome of misery. There was a lot of frustration both from the team and its fans. No one was happy, even when they got the rare win. It was not a good time to be a Las Vegas fan.

Now, two weeks after the firing of Josh McDaniels and Dave Ziegler, there's a noticeable change in the Raiders' atmosphere. It seems as if a weight was lifted off of their shoulders. That's translating onto the field: they've won two straight games after McDaniels' departure. The vibe around the team has greatly improved. Just ask Davante Adams, who was seen dancing after the game, per Ari Meirov.

Well, that's one happy fellow. Adams' displeasure with the Raiders was well-known this season. The star WR signed with the team to reunite with Derek Carr. One year later, and the team shipped out Carr and traded for Jimmy Garoppolo, which turned out to be a poor decision. There was also the matter of Adams' diminished role on the team: something crazy to imagine considering Adams' talent.

All of their problems seemed to stem with Josh McDaniels' presence. Now that he's out of the picture, the Raiders have been a much better team on and off the field. They have some semblance of playoff hope after two straight wins, and they could potentially make a run this year.

Now, granted, those two opponents were the New York Jets and the New York Giants, two of the worst teams in the league. Still, these were definitely games that the Raiders of old would've lost. In a season like this, you have to take those small wins. Who knows? Perhaps those wins can snowball into something greater.
