There has been plenty of speculation regarding a potential quarterback competition for the Raiders heading into the 2020 NFL season. Fortunately, the pair have clearly managed to block out all the noise by putting in some work together with training camp just a month away.

The Raiders have given little indication that they plan stray from Carr as the starter to begin the season. The Raiders will also have some much-needed security with two viable quarterbacks at their disposal. After all, this had become a point of emphasis for them last offseason when they opted to carry four quarterbacks on the roster leading up to the 2019 campaign. They have since managed to change their approach with what they hope is quality over quantity in the form of Mariota.

Carr and Mariota will have the luxury of getting to work with an improved supporting cast on offense that features a revamped receiving corps for the Raiders.
