The Las Vegas Raiders edged out the Cleveland Browns in a thrilling encounter on Monday night as the Raiders kept their playoff hopes alive. Derek Carr's costly error deep in the fourth period nearly led to a Browns win, but Carr and the Raiders were able to turn things around to come out on top.
Carr threw an errant pass to Raiders wide receiver Zay Jones late in the final period which resulted in a Cleveland interception. The 30-year-old quarterback knew that this was a huge turnover from his end, but somehow, he also knew he would be able to redeem himself if given the opportunity. And so this is exactly what Carr told his teammates right before he came up with a game-winning drive:

Carr said he "gave Zay a chance" on the the deep interception and the CB "made a great play. Then, it was just, 'I promise we'll win the game, just get the ball back."

Carr did get the ball back with two minutes remaining on the clock and he absolutely delivered on his promise. The Raiders QB drove the ball down the field as he put teammate Daniel Carson in a position to win the game for hsi team. And so they did.
Sunday's win was a much-needed bounce-back victory following back-to-back losses for the Raiders. They return to action on Sunday for a Week 16 matchup against the Denver Broncos.
