The Las Vegas Raiders were hit with the scandal of the season thus far as head coach Jon Gruden's leaked emails led to his eventual ouster from the team.

Raiders quarterback Derek Carr previously expressed his sadness over the departure of Gruden, whom he had a close relationship with in their three plus seasons together. But Carr knows that the games won't stop despite their off-field drama.

Via Mark Cannizzaro of the New York Post:

“From an emotional standpoint, I got a job to do, and that’s never changed no matter who the coach is, no matter who’s on the team with me,’’ the Raiders QB said. “I have a job to do, and that’s to lead these men, especially now. They need a leader more than ever, and my job is to lead them with my actions, like I always have, and my voice.”

“We’re 3-2. We have everything out in front of us that we’ve wanted from the beginning. It’s not going to be with the same room of people, which is hard, but at the same time nobody cares, and you know how that goes.”

The Raiders have dropped their last two contests by two scores. This after going on an impressive 3-0 burst to start the season. Derek Carr knows that they'll need to zone everything else out as they march on towards their in-season goal, Gruden or no Gruden.
