The Las Vegas Raiders’ terrific offseason continues with the contract extension to Hunter Renfrow. He will get a guaranteed $21 million in his new two-year deal following a breakout 2021 season.
Renfrow shared a heartfelt message to his loved ones and the Raiders organization after his deal became official. The 26-year-old is excited to build off of Las Vegas’ success from last season.
Words cant express how thankful I am. Thankful to God, Camilla, friends and family, every coach and teammate I have had in the past, and of course Raider Nation. Would not be where I am today without you all and cant wait for the next few years to try and go do something special! pic.twitter.com/HgpdCjvdoD

The Davante Adams trade gave the Raiders a superstar for Derek Carr to throw to. But Renfrow’s fantastic abilities in the slot give the Las Vegas offense the potential to be a great unit next season. The fifth-round pick from the 2019 draft has become a key option and should do so even with Adams joining the squad.
Renfrow recorded 1,038 receiving yards in 17 games last season after compiling 1,261 across his previous 29 games. He caught 103 passes and eight touchdowns and was one of the most efficient high-target receivers en route to making the first Pro Bowl of his career. After Henry Ruggs III’s removal from the Raiders, Renfrow stepped up as the top dog in the passing game and helped Las Vegas make the playoffs.
The Raiders’ offense led the way for them last season. Renfrow will need to have another big season as Adams’ co-star. Along with Darren Waller and Josh Jacobs, Las Vegas has a lot of expectations for next season.
