After starting the season 6-4 and cementing themselves as a possible playoff team in the AFC, the Oakland Raiders have lost three straight games. The losing streak has led Raiders head coach Jon Gruden to say that changes will be made in the coming weeks.

“”It's a necessary evil right now. We have to play better. We're going to play better. There will be changes. What happened yesterday will not happen again,” Gruden said.

The loss that Gruden is talking about was a 42-21 home loss to the Tennessee Titans. In the game, the Titans gouged the Raiders defense for 552 yards. Oakland was beaten both through the air and the ground as Tennessee quarterback Ryan Tannehill threw for 391 yards and three touchdowns while running back Derrick Henry had 18 carries for 103 yards and two scores.

In the three game losing streak, Oakland has been outscored by an average of 27.7 points and has surrendered at least 34 points each time.

While it's unclear what kind of changes that Gruden plans to instate, the second-year Raiders coach needs to do something if the Raiders want to remain competitive in their last three regular season games.

On the schedule, Oakland will face the Jacksonville Jaguars and home and then have a two-game road trip against the Los Angeles Chargers and the Denver Broncos.

To Gruden's credit, the Raiders 6-7 record already puts the team at two more wins than they had all last season so it seems that the Raiders are at least going in the right direction.

Unfortunately for Raiders fans in Oakland, the team is set to relocate to Las Vegas at the beginning of next season.
