Oakland Raiders cornerback Lamarcus Joyner led the defense in an embarrassing beatdown against Kyler Murray and the Arizona Cardinals offense. Murray really struggled against the Raiders defense and Joyner even sacked him in the end zone for a safety.

After an impressive showing on the field. Joyner went to the sideline and gave an interview to Lisa Saulter calling the Cardinals offense “pretty boy football.”

“It’s pretty boy football,” said Joyner. “It don’t allow the defense to play physical like the game was meant to be [played]. So, when you go against an offense like that, you have to introduce that physicality to them because they don’t want to do that.”

Saulters went on to ask what should happen with that type of offense and Joyner didn't mince words saying he wanted to run that offense out of the league.

Even with how critical he was of the offense he did have some praise for Kyler Murray calling him quick as a jackrabbit which is why he was even happier with the safety.

It's still to be seen how exactly the “pretty boy offense” will transition to the NFL, but it's interesting to see other players frustrated with the style of offense.

Joyner is right with the way to get the offense out of the league; it's to beat it. If defenses can find ways to slow it down, there is going to be no choice for the Cardinals but trying something else to get the ball moving. If they don't Kliff Kingsbury won't be in the league long.
