The Las Vegas Raiders, who are a game behind the Miami Dolphins and Baltimore Ravens for the final wild-card spot in the AFC, will be playing a crucial game on Thursday against the Los Angeles Chargers.

As of right now, the Raiders have a 20% chance to make the playoffs. If they manage to win against the Chargers, their odds to make the playoffs will go up to 31%. However, if they lose, their odds will drop to 6%. Considering how low those chances are, Thursday's game will basically be a must-win game for the Raiders.

And to make matters worse, the Raiders will be without their star rookie receiver, Henry Ruggs III. Ruggs, who was selected by the organization in the first round of the 2020 NFL Draft, was placed on the reserve/COVID-19 list Tuesday. In addition to Ruggs, Vegas will also be without their offensive coordinator, Greg Olson. Olson reportedly tested positive for COVID-19 on Wednesday, according to the Atletic's Vic Tafur. With that being said, there will be a lot of pressure on the coaching staff in Thursday's primetime game against the Chargers.

Nevertheless, Las Vegas has managed to beat the Chargers before this season. In Week 8, the Raiders beat the Chargers 31-25. For those who may not remember, the game came down to the final minutes of the fourth quarter. Raiders kicker Daniel Carlson scored the game-winning field goal, improving their record to 3-4.

According to DraftKings, the Raiders are favored by 3.5 points to beat the Chargers on Thursday.
