The Las Vegas Raiders have long been considered a team that could pursue Tom Brady in free agency and Trent Brown seems like a fan of the idea. Just a few days before free agency begins, Brown made surprising comments when asked if the Raiders should want Brady.

“Who wouldn’t?” Brown responded when asked about playing with Brady in a phone interview Friday, while discussing his partnership with Ladder, a new personal training app.

“He’s the greatest quarterback of all time,” Brown said of the Patriots QB.

Last offseason, Brown signed a four-year deal worth $66 million with the Raiders. But prior to joining the Raiders, Brown spent the 2018 season with the New England Patriots.

While with the Patriots, Brown was Brady's left tackle and helped New England defeat the Los Angeles Rams in the Super Bowl. Then, after signing with the Raiders, Brown moved to right tackle in 2019 and was named to his first Pro Bowl.

Of course, some people may believe that Brown is throwing shade at his current quarterback, Derek Carr, with his comments about Brady. However, Brown made it clear that he has no problems with Carr under center. At the same time, he wouldn't be upset if Brady was his quarterback once again in 2020.

With the Raiders moving to Las Vegas, the team has to begin building a roster that can contend in the AFC West. Even though Brown will be excited to make the move to Las Vegas regardless of who his quarterback is, it remains to be seen if Brady will be joining him.
