Rainbow Six Siege is about to get one of its wildest collaborations yet, as Sega is teaming up with Ubisoft to release special outfits based on their hit action game series, Yakuza. The crossover will feature exclusive outfit bundles for Operators Echo and Hibana, which will give them a look similar to Kazuma Kiryu and Sayama Kaoru.

In a new teaser trailer, players can witness the new outfits in their full glory, especially with Echo looking as close to Kazuma Kiryu as possible. Even though Kiryu is proficient at beating up anyone that stands in his way, Kiryu has never killed another person in any Yakuza game, ever. Even though Echo is just cosplaying as Kiryu, it is very amusing to think that Kiryu will now be filling his foes full of holes with various firearms.

The trailer also teases at the end that another costume set for Echo will be arriving shortly after the Kiryu and Kaoru costume sets, and it strongly hints at another character in the Yakuza series being Majima Goro. In the Yakuza series, Goro served as Kiryu's main rival as well as his ally. Goro acts like a completely unhinged individual which serves as a stark contrast to Kiryu's serious and stoic nature. Together, the two generally get into some heated confrontations or silly situations, which the Yakuza series has been best known for.

Other changes to Rainbow Six Siege includes a new operator called Sens, a new event called Operation Vector Glare, and other changes including a new story and narratives for the game. This update will also include the addition of a shooting range, along with a new squad system.
