The Los Angeles Rams' issues along their offensive line this season have been well-documented and the front office is acting on them now. On Tuesday, Los Angeles has acquired center Austin Corbett from the Cleveland Browns for an undisclosed draft pick.

During the offseason, the Rams decided to let Rodger Saffold and John Sullivan go. They replaced their two veterans with second-year players and the struggles have shown to begin the season.

Sadly, Joseph Noteboom, who replaced Saffold at left guard, was diagnosed with a torn ACL after Sunday's game against the San Francisco 49ers. Therefore, it created a need for Los Angeles to find his replacement.

That's where Corbett comes into the picture. Corbett was drafted with the 33rd overall pick by the Browns in the 2018 NFL Draft.

Over the past two seasons, the young offensive line has only started in one game in Cleveland. Prior to being traded, Corbett was serving as J.C. Tretter's backup at the center position.

Along with playing center, Corbett has experience playing the guard position when he was in college at Nevada. Due to his experience at guard, that's likely where the Rams will play him when he arrives in Los Angeles.

The Rams will want to get Corbett up to speed with the offense as soon as possible; especially considering that the offensive line is in shambles right now after facing the San Francisco 49ers in Week 6. Expect to see the second-year offensive lineman get his first start with the team against the Atlanta Falcons this Sunday.
