The Los Angeles Rams made the difficult choice this offseason to part ways with defensive coordinator Wade Phillips, the 72-year-old former head coach of several teams who won Super Bowl 50 with the Denver Broncos. What was your favorite thing about playing for Wade Phillips?

He’s a great coach. You learned a lot from him, he’s been coaching for a long time and having success. Having an opportunity to play for him was great, we’re going to miss the swagger and the confidence he brought to the defense. He gave us a lot of opportunities to do a lot of different things and to be a successful defense, so definitely going to miss him.

Since leaving the Rams, Phillips had been rumored to be interested in the Cleveland Browns' defensive coordinator job under rookie head coach Kevin Stefanski. However, San Francisco 49ers defensive backs coach Joe Woods recently accepted that position.

Until his next interview, Phillips will have to boast about Aaron Donald's compliment of the defensive coach.
