The Los Angeles Rams reached the pinnacle of professional football last month, and Allen Robinson wants a piece of it. The Pro Bowl receiver signed a three-year, $46.5 million deal on Thursday with the Super Bowl champs. On Monday, he cited his new teammates' experience at the top as motivation to improve as an individual.

“I wanted to step into an environment where I can be the best I can be. They're coming off a Super Bowl, and I haven't yet won a Super Bowl. To be around a group of guys who have done that is only going to make me better and push me,” Robinson said in an interview with Rams reporters on Monday, per AP reporter Greg Beacham.

Subpar quarterbacking has hindered Robinson's career, first in Jacksonville, then in Chicago. But now he'll join a Rams team looking to defend their title with Matthew Stafford, whose recent extension sees him under contract through 2026. Cooper Kupp will remain the focal point of the Rams offense, but Robinson's productivity could soar. His first-time role as option B was all but solidified following the subsequent trade of Robert Woods to the Titans.

Robinson played in 12 games last year for the Bears, managing only 38 receptions for 410 yards and one touchdown. But he's one year removed from a season in which he recorded a career-high 102 catches for 1,250 yards. Playing second fiddle in Sean McVay's offense is a recipe for success for Allen Robinson and the Rams in 2022.
