After a somewhat disappointing rookie season with the Los Angeles Rams, quarterback Jared Goff bounced back with a vengeance in his sophomore campaign helping lead his team into the playoffs at the helm of one of the best offenses in the NFL.

As Goff gets prepared for his third season with the Rams, the rising star is making quite an impression on his teammates. One of his newest teammates and potentially one of his top targets in 2018, Brandin Cooks, spoke highly of the former No. 1 overall pick, via Lindsey Thiry of ESPN.

“You talk about a guy that’s a natural-born leader, who works hard throughout this offseason, throwing with each other before this all started,” Cooks said. “Now transitioning into OTAs I think has been great for all the receivers.”

Goff seems to be making all the right moves in Los Angeles as he tries to become one of the league's elite quarterbacks. The 23-year-old is coming off his first Pro Bowl season in which he threw for 3,804 yards, 28 touchdowns, and seven interceptions.

Along with making many forget about his less than stellar seven-game stretch during his rookie campaign, Goff has this offense under head coach Sean McVay firing on all cylinders. The addition of Cook should only make the passing game that much more dynamic as Los Angeles hopes to take the next step with a potent offense backed up by arguably the best defense in the NFL.

The Rams will head into the 2018 season with high hopes of competing for a Super Bowl title as one of the teams to beat in the NFC once again.
