The Los Angeles Rams looked to be in trouble down 17-7 to the San Francisco 49ers heading into the fourth quarter. However, the Rams rallied and emerged victorious over the 49ers to earn a Super Bowl berth. Rams safety Eric Weddle spoke about how Los Angeles was ‘down and out', but credited star defender Aaron Donald for leading them to victory. Here's how Donald did it, per NBC Sports.

“We were down and out,” Weddle said, via Jim Trotter of NFL Media. “AD rallied us. He asked us to give more. He said to let us be the reason we win this game. We knew what it meant to him.”

Eric Weddle revealed that Aaron Donald rallied the Rams when they were “down and out.” Donald asked Weddle and the rest of the Rams to “give more” and implored them to be the reason why Los Angeles won the game and advanced to the Super Bowl.

Just like Weddle said, the Rams could tell how much a Super Bowl berth meant to Donald, who was denied a ring in 2018 by Tom Brady and the New England Patriots.

Given another chance, Aaron Donald clearly would not be denied of another shot at a Super Bowl. If that was ever in doubt, just ask Eric Weddle and the rest of the Rams.
