Los Angeles Rams cornerback Jalen Ramsey was sensational in Week 1 against the Chicago Bears. To borrow the words of Brian Baldinger of NFL Network, he played possessed.

Now, ahead of their Week 2 showdown with the Indianapolis Colts, Ramsey sent some sort of a warning about what makes him really dominant. Simply put, his physicality and ability to play all over the field with his position makes him a huge threat to any team in the NFL.

“I feel like I'm just a defensive back, so (I) could play anywhere on the field and it's just part of my game. That's part of where my impact comes from is also being physical, not just covering guys,” Ramsey said during his recent presser.

Jalen Ramsey is right, though. Since the Rams acquired him in 2019 for two first-round picks, he has taken his game to another level. He is more than just a coverage player for the team, showing his impact in several areas.

Fans do not need to look further than Week 1 of the 2021 season to see how much valuable he is to the team. Against the Bears, Ramsey recorded Ramsey recorded nine tackles and made one pass breakup to keep their opponents at bay. The 26-year-old also made two critical stops behind the line of scrimmage.

While Aaron Donald's name comes to mind first when talking about the Rams' defense, the defensive tackle himself is in awe of Ramsey and what he can do on the field–something that few or no other CBs can accomplish at all.

“It’s different. I was watching film and seeing him coming up in the box, hitting offensive linemen and holding the ends,” Donald said of Ramsey, via the Rams website. “Ain’t no player like him in the National Football League. He can do it all. He’s a special talent. He loves the game. He plays with a lot of passion. He flies around and he’s a playmaker. So I’m just happy he’s on our team.”

Get ready LA fans, it sure looks like Ramsey is about to impress everyone again.
