Former Los Angeles Rams running back Eric Dickerson is a member of the Pro Football Hall of Fame. Dickerson is widely regarded as one of the best running backs ever, with his most notable seasons coming with the Rams, where he set NFL records. One would think that such a legendary figure in Rams history would jump at the chance to attend Super Bowl 56. Think again. Here's the shocking reason why Dickerson doesn't plan to attend Super Bowl 56, per Sports Illustrated.

“I don’t think I’m going to the game,” Dickerson told Maggie Gray and Andrew Perloff of CBS Sports Radio. “I’m just going to watch it on TV.”

“Let’s put it like this, they wanted to give me tickets in the rafters,” Dickerson said. “In the 400s, so I said, ‘I’d rather stay at home and watch it.’”

Rams legend Eric Dickerson was offered tickets to Super Bowl 56, but as he says, they were at the very top of the stadium in the 400s section. It's almost as if the Rams “ran out” of Super Bowl tickets and said “we'll put Dickerson up in the nosebleeds, he won't mind.” They couldn't be more wrong.

Not only will Dickerson not be attending Super Bowl 56, but he also said he “would rather stay at home and watch.” The Rams legend even went so far as to say he'd rather watch the game on a boat than sit where his seats were- and he said he hates boats.

Clearly, the Rams dropped the ball with their Super Bowl 56 tickets for Eric Dickerson.
