After losing Von Miller in free agency to the Buffalo Bills, the Los Angeles Rams went to work, signing free agent WR Allen Robinson to a new deal. While it's obviously an amazing pickup for the defending champions, it poses an intriguing question.

What are they going to do with Robert Woods?

As it turns out, the Rams are set to do something on Woods… kind of. According to Adam Schefter, Les Snead and the front office are now fielding trade calls for Robert Woods. This indicates that the team could move their long-time receiver for the right price.

Does this mean that Woods is heading out of Los Angeles? Not exactly. Obviously, the team would love Woods back on the roster, especially with Odell Beckham Jr. set to miss a good chunk of the season. However, Robinson's presence means that if the Rams are offered a deal for Woods, they will have less qualms about letting him go.

Woods has been excellent for the Rams in his stint there. He's had two 1,000-yard seasons with the team since signing there in 2017. He was also an excellent number two option when Cooper Kupp emerged as the team's lead receiver. However, an ACL injury mid-way through last year cut his season short.

Woods is well-loved by the Rams fanbase and the players. Aaron Donald and Kupp spoke highly about the receiver during their Super Bowl run. However, the NFL is a business. Teams are constantly searching for ways to improve. If the front office gets a good offer for Woods, he might be gone from the team.
