After a deal fell through with the Baltimore Ravens, Michael Brockers has rejoined the Los Angeles Rams, according to Ian Rapoport of NFL Media.

Brockers is getting a deal that can pay up to $31.5 million over there years. He agreed to a deal for three years and $30 million with the Ravens, but with the Coronavirus not allowing team doctors to meet with players, it threw a wrench into things.

An independent doctor did an examination of Brockers and he raised some concerns over an ankle injury that he suffered during the last game of 2019.

There was still optimism the two sides could reach an agreement, but it never happened, and now he is back with the Rams. After reaching the agreement, Brockers posted on Instagram.

The Rams have another key defensive piece back, but the big question for the Ravens is where do they go from here. Michael Pierce moved on to the Minnesota Vikings, and Brockers was supposed to be his replacement. The Ravens also shipped off defensive end Chris Wormley to the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Last season with the Rams, Brockers started all 16 games, making 63 tackles and three sacks. He has started 57 consecutive games, and would have been a great addition for the Ravens.

With the Rams, Brockers will start alongside Aaron Donald, but much of the rest of the defense will look different. Outside linebackers Dante Fowler and Clay Matthews, cornerback Nickell Robey-Coleman, safety Eric Weddle and linebacker Cory Littleton won't be back next season so there are a lot of other holes that still need to be figured out.
