After just two years with the Cleveland Browns, Odell Beckham Jr. is now set to open a new chapter in his career with the Los Angeles Rams. It was LA who sensationally won the OBJ sweepstakes following the Browns' decision to release the three-time Pro-Bowler.
At this point, it is clear that Beckham has no ill feelings towards the Browns despite the rather forgettable end of his tenure with the franchise. OBJ penned a heartfelt letter to his former team as well as the city of Cleveland which he shared via Twitter:
Beckham, who is now expected to play a key role in the Rams' Super Bowl aspirations, went out of his way to send an emotional thank you to the city of Cleveland as well as the Browns organization. OBJ also had a special message for now-former teammate Jarvis Landry, who Beckham considers to be a “gift from God.”
Now that Beckham has gotten his farewells out of the way, the three-time Pro-Bowler will need to focus on working his butt off for the Rams. He is no longer the ultimate superstar he once was, and he will need to earn his spot in coach Sean McVay's system. Nevertheless, many expect Beckham to be integral for the Rams as they look to bring back the Vince Lombardi trophy to LA after a very long time.
