The Los Angeles Rams will see running back Darrell Henderson Jr. make his return to action for the team's upcoming Week 4 matchup with the Arizona Cardinals.

Rams head coach Sean McVay noted during a press conference on Friday that as it stands, Henderson is expected to feature against the Cardinals after being sidelined due to a rib injury.

“I don’t anticipate him not being able to go,” McVay said. “He’s been good this week. No updates. Whether we put him as a limited participant or not, I don’t know. But he’s going to play.”

Henderson missed the Rams' Week 3 home clash against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers due to the rib injury. The third-year running back did not feature in any of the Rams' scheduled practices last week and in the end, the team elected to rule him out for the game. In his absence, Sony Michel led Los Angeles' ground attack in the 34-24 win over the reigning Super Bowl champions as he rushed for 67 yards and posted a 3.4 rushing yards per carry average.

While Henderson has been limited in practice this week, he is on par to feature against Arizona in Week 4.

Henderson could be in for a possible standout outing against the Cardinals and their 29th ranked rush defense (140.7 rushing yards allowed per game) in the NFL this season.

The Rams will look to take sole possession of first place in the NFC West with a win over the Cardinals.
