In his first two years with the Los Angeles Rams, head coach Sean McVay has had a tremendous impact on the franchise quickly helping change them into one of the top teams in the league that has led to them being the last unbeaten team through the first seven weeks this season.

McVay has quickly earned a great deal of respect from his players about his handling of the team along with his preparation and game planning that has built a bright future ahead of the franchise. During an interview with NFL Network, wide receiver Robert Woods gave his head coach some major praise by comparing his game planning to that of New England Patriots head coach Bil Belichick. I would put [McVay] in the same category as Belichick [when it comes to game-planning]. I feel like he's always picking at New England or New Orleans. Even with [former New England Patriot] Brandin [Cooks], he's asking him about his experiences or coaches. He's always trying to learn from his past experiences and others', and it shows in his creativity and even his route concepts. He's literally creating some routes for us.

These comments from Woods speak to the type of dedication and passion that McVay has for the game and the entire process. This is something that Belichick has shown for nearly the last two decades while with the Patriots that has led to a huge amount of success over that span.

The offensive game plan that McVay has implemented with the team offensively has taken the team to the next level that has extenuated the talent of his players. It has lifted them to possess one of the most potent offenses in the league with star running back Todd Gurley as the key piece of the puzzle while Pro Bowl quarterback Jared Goff has continued to develop into one of the rising stars in the league. Woods has been a part of the passing game alongside wide receiver Brandin Cooks and Cooper Kupp.

All of this has put a bright future ahead of the Rams for not only this season but possibly well beyond that may see plenty of success ahead.
