The Los Angeles Rams were gearing up to once again field one of the league's more talented receiving corps when it was announced that they had signed free agent wideout Allen Robinson. Robinson's presence, along with Cooper Kupp and Robert Woods, seemingly made Odell Beckham Jr. the odd man out in Los Angeles. Surprisingly, the Robinson signing meant the end of the Woods era in Los Angeles, which was a shocking development after his season was cut short due to injury. Woods was traded to the Tennessee Titans. On Wednesday, the former Rams wideout took to Twitter to share a heartfelt thank you message to Los Angeles.

Woods, a native of Gardena, California, first thanked the Rams for allowing him to play football in his hometown, which he called a “dream come true.”

The newest Titans star then went on to thank Rams' head coach Sean McVay, the rest of the coaching staff, his teammates and the fans.

Even though Woods, who tore his ACL back in November during practice, wasn't a part of Los Angeles' Super Bowl run, he still expressed joy that the franchise was able to bring a Lombardi Trophy to the Rams.

While the Woods trade does signal the end of an era in Los Angeles, it also ushers in a new one in Tennessee. The Titans parted ways with All-Pro Julio Jones, who endured an injury-riddled campaign- and opted to bring in Woods, who has two 1000-yard seasons under his belt, instead.

Even though Woods will be wearing a different uniform following the trade, it's clear he will always have love for Los Angeles.
