The Los Angeles Rams win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the Divisional Round was too close for comfort. Matthew Stafford and the Rams were almost the latest victims of a Tom Brady comeback. Fortunately for them, Stafford and Cooper Kupp combined for 64 yards to get Matt Gay into field-goal range, where he nailed a 30-yeard field goal to give LA a 30-27 win.

Rams head coach Sean McVay was thrilled after the victory. But he still relayed to his players that the job isn't over as they headed off the field.

Los Angeles, indeed, needs to stay ready. They will host their division-rival San Francisco 49ers in the NFC Championship Game. The Niners just stunned the Green Bay Packers in Lambeau Field. To avoid being the third team that San Francisco upsets in the playoffs, they have to bring their best performance.

The Rams jumped out to a 20-3 lead at halftime but allowed Brady and the Bucs chances to get back into the game, which they took advantage of. The Stafford-to-Kupp connection got Los Angeles to the next round, as they linked up nine times for 183 yards and a long touchdown. Kupp's incredible season now features a signature playoff moment.

Los Angeles went hard on this season in their trades and signings, sacrificing a lot of their future to win now. The moves have paid off, as the Rams made the conference title game for the second time in McVay's five-year stint as their head coach.
