The Los Angeles Rams have not been shy about bringing in some star power into their organization. That approach has not changed during organized team activities with Rams legend Torry Holt in attendance.

The former star wide receiver was seen working with the team's group of wideouts. According to Gary Klein of the Los Angeles Times, he is attempting to try his hand at coaching.

“Just trying to get a feel for coaching, and if this is something that I want to pursue maybe going forward,” Holt said.

Needless to say, Holt's advice carries plenty of weight around the Rams' organization. Even wide receiver Brandin Cooks was admittedly anxious to soak in what he had to say.

“Whatever he talks about,” Brandin Cooks said Monday, “I’m just soaking it in and being a sponge and trying to add it to my game.”

There is a good reason for Cooks to heed his advice. Holt was one of the best wideouts of his generation and a vital piece of the “Greatest Show on Turf” back in the day.

He has amassed 920 receptions, 13,382 yards, and 74 touchdowns during his 11-year career. During that time, he won a Super, earned seven trips to the Pro Bowl, and was even named to the NFL's 2000s All-Decade Team.
That said, Holt certainly has plenty to offer players looking to mirror the same type of success he enjoyed. What better place to do it than with his former team that is currently chalk-full of young talent at the wideout position.
