DeMar DeRozan and Kyle Lowry might be playing for different NBA teams now, but they're still like brothers. The former Toronto Raptors teammates remain close and we saw evidence of that earlier this week on Serge Ibaka's cooking show called “How Hungry Are You”, where DeRozan was a special guest.

The two talked about a flurry of different topics, including how DeMar almost joined the Clippers in the summer instead of signing with the Chicago Bulls. During the episode, the former Raptors shared a hilarious moment. Serge, who revealed this cricket juice that he drinks, said if DeRozan Facetimes Lowry and he doesn't pick up, the Bulls star would have to drink it. Thankfully, Lowry answered:

Is DeMar DeRozan’s friendship with Kyle Lowry as solid as everyone thinks? We found out on #HowHungryAreYou Ep3 (link in Bio and on @sportsnet in 🇨🇦

Just casually Facetiming each other in the middle of the day. You gotta love it. After all, DeMar and Lowry shared some special moments with the Raptors and so did Ibaka. Both guys are certainly doing their thing elsewhere, though.

DeRozan is playing at an MVP level for Chicago this season as they remain in the mix for a top-four seed in the East. Lowry meanwhile, has missed quite a bit of time due to personal reasons, but he's still been effective for the conference-leading Miami Heat, who are looking like a legitimate Finals contender.

Nevertheless, the duo hasn't forgotten their Raptors roots.
