The Toronto Raptors lost another game on Sunday against the Chicago Bulls that extends their current losing skid to five games. This, obviously, has taken a toll on six-time All-Star Kyle Lowry who was ejected in the final minutes of their game on Sunday en route to a 23-point blowout.
Lowry was also pretty straightforward after the game. When asked if his team could take anything away from their last three losses, he simply said: “No.” (vis Josh Lewenberg of TSN Sports).
Can the Raptors take anything from the last 3 games?

To Lowry's point, it's actually quite hard to gain anything from their last three or even five games when they've missed a ton of their key players due to the league's COVID-19 health and safety protocols. Starting forward Pascal Siakam has been out for six straight games while other starters Fred VanVleet and OG Anunoby as well as reserves Patrick McCaw and Malachi Flynn have missed the team's past five games.
On Sunday, they lost to a Chicago Bulls team who was just 7-13 at home prior to the game. Even with Bulls stars Zach LaVine, Lauri Markkanen, and Coby White all having relatively quiet evenings, the depleted Raptors unit couldn't come up with a much-needed W as they continue to slide down the Eastern Conference standings.

“When we get guys back we can play to a level we know we can play to,” Lowry added. “This is a true mental grind every single day. It's definitely tough mentally but that's what we get paid to do. It's just very unconventional and we have to find ways to get through it.”
Lowry-"When we get guys back we can play to a level we know we can play to… If we have to play a play-in game we still get an opportunity to do something but we're not looking at that, we're looking to make a run. We're not far back. We're just in a tough spot missing our guys"

Lowry on the strange nature of this NBA season: "This is a true mental grind every single day… But it's no complaining from me. It's definitely tough mentally but that's what we get paid to do… It's just very unconventional and we have to find ways to get through it."

The Raptors finish their three-game road trip on Monday against the Detroit Pistons before hosting the league-leading Utah Jazz on Friday.
