By now, everyone knows San Antonio Spurs shooting guard DeMar DeRozan never wanted to be traded by the Toronto Raptors. The four-time All-Star wanted to spend his entire NBA career with the Canada-based team and become the best player in franchise history.

That's why the trade that sent DeMar DeRozan to San Antonio hurt him so much. He truly loved playing for the Raptors and even wanted to break every record in the organization.

DeRozan is the Raptors' franchise leader in games, minutes, field goals, free-throws and points. The 29-year-old swingman accomplished a lot in his nine years in Toronto and it wouldn't be a surprise if the team retires DeRozan's No. 10 jersey one day.

DeRozan finished his Raptors career with averages of 19.7 points, 4.1 rebounds and 3.1 assists while shooting 44.8 percent from the field and 82.7 percent from the free-throw line.

The Spurs host the Raptors on Thursday. It will be the first time DeRozan faces his former team. Of course, all the focus is going to be on Kawhi Leonard, as he makes his return to San Antonio, but it still figures to be an emotional game for DeRozan since he's going up against guys he went to war with for so many seasons.
