The Baltimore Ravens went 14-2 in the 2019 regular season. They ended the year on a ridiculous 12-game winning streak.

With that record, Baltimore earned the number one seed in the AFC. In fact, that was the best record in all of football.

Now that the Wild Card round is up, the Ravens will be playing a game in just a few days. In that game, they square off with the Tennessee Titans. Tennessee beat the New England Patriots in New England in the first round.

Despite that daunting matchup, Baltimore is still favored pretty heavily, and in fact, are favored throughout the playoffs.

According to Odds Shark, the Ravens are the odds-on favorites to win the entire AFC, placing them in the Super Bowl.

Baltimore is pretty obviously favored here. It definitely does not hurt that they have home-field advantage this week, and next round should they win.

The Kansas City Chiefs are next on that list and are the other team with the home-field advantage this round in the AFC.

Although the Titans are facing the Ravens, they are up next. There are two trains of thought for why this could be. First, it could be because the Titans already have an impressive playoff win over the Patriots (while the Houston Texans had to claw back to beat the Buffalo Bills).

It could also be because even if the Texans beat the Chiefs, odds are that they would have to face the Ravens then. And everyone is going to be underdogs against that team. Yes, the Titans have to play Baltimore too. But then if they win this week, all sorts of momentum will be on their side and they could be a much closer bet in the next round.

All that does not matter though because odds don't mean much when the players step on to the field. What this really means is that the Ravens have been deemed the most dangerous team at the moment. And who can argue with that?
