The Baltimore Ravens made a big splash by drafting receiver Marquise Brown in the first round back in April, but they also added another interesting receiver in the third in Miles Boykin.

Boykin, a Notre Dame product, has been impressing in camp and is starting to earn a lot of praise from his teammates.

Fellow receiver Willie Snead had some high praise for Boykin, comparing him to one of the league's best.

“All Miles wants to do is grow and learn,” Snead said, via Clifton Brown of the team's official site. “I keep telling him every day, I’m like, ‘Dude, you look like Michael Thomas.’ I remember when Michael Thomas came to New Orleans, he was built the same, had the same mentality, just trying to get better every day.”

Boykin is also earning respect from the members of the defense he's going up against in practice.

“That boy is fast,” veteran cornerback Jimmy Smith said. “He’s a big dude, fast, strong. I think he’s going to be a player for us this year. I’m excited about it.”

Cornerback Marlon Humphrey also chimed in.

“He’s so long,” Humphrey added. “He’s just able to stack guys really well. That’s a thing that a lot of guys can’t do that aren’t as strong. So I’m really excited for the plays he’ll make this year.”

Baltimore completely reinvented its receiving corp this offseason, getting rid of John Brown and Michael Crabtree and replacing them with Brown and Boykin. They're looking to tailor their offense to Lamar Jackson, and hoping these two new wideouts will be with him for years to come.

The Ravens have been easing Brown in as he recovers from a foot injury, providing even more opportunities for Boykin. So far it sounds like he's capitalizing on them.
