Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Breshad Perriman is walking on thin ice after a rough start to his career. Unfortunately, he has not done much to alleviate the pressure after a rough start to minicamp.

The offseason provides players with an opportunity to work out the kinks before preparing for the 2018 NFL season. However, according to ESPN's Jamison Hensley, Perriman has made a habit of dropping passes early on.

Ravens wide receiver Breshad Perriman continues to have trouble with his hands. He has dropped a pass in each of the three offseason practices that’s been open to the media. Perriman is due a $649,485 roster bonus on third day of training camp.

This is certainly not an encouraging start for Perriman. Baltimore has expressed nothing but optimism with their young wideout ever since taking him in the first round of the 2015 NFL Draft. However, it seems their patience has started to wear thin after an injury-plagued start to his career culminated with an abysmal 2017 campaign.

Perriman's rough start to camp could have serious consequences this time around. If he is unable to show that he has the potential to establish a role for himself in the offense this season, there is virtually no reason for Baltimore to keep him around long enough to gather the roster bonus.

That said, it is still way too early to speculate the type of year a certain player is poised to have. It is clear that the Ravens have their reasons for holding on to him this long. Regardless, the time has come for Perriman to start showing some return on their long-term investment.
