New Baltimore Ravens defensive end Calais Campbell is excited to get another chance to compete for another Super Bowl with his new squad.

Campbell played in one Super Bowl with the Arizona Cardinals and a couple more conference championships, but he's also played for some rather dreadful teams. Each of the last couple of seasons have been with the Jacksonville Jaguars, a team that wasn't all that competitive.

“Honestly, it’s a great situation to be in. The team is very, very talented,” Campbell said on Sirius XM NFL Radio about the Ravens, via Pro Football Talk. “You look at Baltimore’s roster up and down and there’s talent everywhere. And then throughout the draft we got even stronger at a couple of the positions where we needed some help. So I’m really excited about the opportunity.”

The Ravens wanted to bolster their defense even more so they swung a trade with the Jacksonville Jaguars to bring in Campbell. He said there were other teams who were interested in trading for him, but he wanted to go to the Ravens. Campbell has found a lot of success in the NFL, but still isn't done chasing a Super Bowl to cap his career.

“This is one of those times where I’ve been playing football for 12 years (in the NFL) and been close a bunch. I’ve played in three championship games, one Super Bowl. But I haven’t been able to win it yet and so I feel like this team, as talented as it is, this is probably going to be the best shot that I have.”

Time is running out, but this is as good as chance as anytime to win the Super Bowl. The Ravens are that good.
