Baltimore Ravens defensive lineman Calais Campbell is expected to miss several weeks of action due to the calf injury he sustained in Sunday's 24-10 victory over the Indianapolis Colts.

Campbell will undergo further testing to determine the severity of his injury:

Campbell left Sunday's game in the first half and did not play in the second. While trying to force his way through a double-team block, he fell to the ground. He slowly made his way to the sidelines after the play and was later carted to the locker room. Rookie defensive linemen Justin Madubuike entered the game for Campbell, who leads the Ravens in sacks and tackles for loss this season.

Ravens head coach Jim Harbaugh believed that Campbell's injury was not serious in the immediate aftermath of the game, later noting that the ailment was a strain of some kind. For now, though, we'll have to wait and see how long he'll be sidelined.

The Ravens acquired Campbell as part of a trade this past offseason, and they view him as an important piece of the team. In March, he agreed to the terms of a two-year, $27 million contract extension. An iron man of sorts, 2014 marks the last time he missed a game, so this will break a lengthy games played streak for him.

Baltimore will be back in action on Nov. 15, when they'll travel to New England for a matchup against the Patriots. Kick-off is set for 8:20 p.m. ET, with NBC having live broadcast coverage.
