The Baltimore Ravens added safety Earl Thomas to their roster earlier this week and already he is doing his best to bring more players over to the team. Former league sack leader Justin Houston is looking for a new team and while there is speculation where he will land, the Ravens are a viable option.

The addition of Houston would ensure the team gets a solid pass rusher ahead of next season, but it's also fair to assume he won't be quite what he was back in 2014. Houston led the league in sacks with 22.0, which is astonishing considering the pass rushing talent that was on the Kansas City Chiefs at that time.

Defensive lineman Tamba Hali and Dontari Poe were alongside Houston, but he managed to drastically set himself apart from the pack.

Houston has been rumored to be in touch with the Pittsburgh Steelers and while they likely need the presence of a veteran pass rusher a bit more, the Ravens would be a nice fit as well. Although the Chiefs released Houston last week, it's likely the eight-year veteran has some solid years left in the tank.

If the Ravens do make a play for Houston, he'll help relieve them of the void left behind by Terrell Suggs and Za'Darius Smith on pass rushing duties. The Ravens have a new look on defense next season and it'll be interesting to see how they can make up for the numerous losses they sustained during this year's free agency.
