With the Baltimore Ravens making the playoffs Eric Weddle is $1 million richer but he doesn't plan to keep it for himself, rather spread it around to his team.

Weddle has a clause in his contract that if he makes the Pro Bowl and the Ravens make the playoffs in the same year, he gets the bonus and after the game, he said he was thinking all week about what he would do with the money if the team won on Sunday.

“I've been thinking about it all week that if it happened, I'm going to do something nice for all my teammates and my coaches because I'm nothing without my team,” Weddle said after the Ravens' 26-24 win over the Cleveland Browns via Jamison Hensley of ESPN. “As much as it's for me and my play, my defense helped me get to where I'm at.”

Last year it looked like the Ravens would make the playoffs and Weddle will get the bonus until Tyler Boyd scored a 49-yard touchdown on 4th-and-12 to win the game for the Cincinnati Bengals and knock the Ravens out of a playoff spot.

Weddle isn't exactly sure what he is going to do for his teammates but the teammates are already trying to stake their claim on a share of the cash. Tony Jefferson told Weddle that he needed $75,000.

“Now, we're going to be in his pockets,” Jefferson said with a smile.

Weddle and the Ravens will now continue their season on Sunday when they host the Los Angeles Chargers.
