The Baltimore Ravens have largely flown under the radar throughout the entire 2017 NFL season. However, they are in prime position to earn a Wild Card spot in the AFC.
Unfortunately, they likely won't have one of their top receivers in Week 16. According to the team's official injury report, the Ravens have listed wide receiver Jeremy Maclin as doubtful for Saturday's matchup with the Indianapolis Colts.
Head coach John Harbaugh discussed Maclin's status, via Charean Williams of Pro Football Talk:
Coach John Harbaugh said earlier Thursday that Maclin remains day to day with a knee injury, and the team might not determine his status until game time.
Maclin initially suffered the knee injury during Baltimore's Week 15 victory over the Cleveland Browns. Since then, he hasn't practiced all week leading up to what should be a win against the lowly Colts.
The nine-year veteran already missed a couple games in mid-October due to a shoulder injury. Needless to say, his absence was noticeable after the Ravens wound up losing a heartbreaker to the struggling Chicago Bears before falling to the formidable Minnesota Vikings during that span.
Should Maclin ultimately sit out, the Ravens will once again focus on getting the ball to wide receiver Mike Wallace and tight end Benjamin Watson.
