The Baltimore Ravens were the best team in the league during the regular season thanks to their dominance on both sides of the ball. It seems head coach John Harbaugh had good reason to put an emphasis on fixing as many weaknesses as possible.

The Ravens are perhaps the most balanced team remaining in the playoffs. Harbaugh shared quite the analogy when it came to describing their efforts to pair an explosive offense with a formidable defense, via ESPN's Jamison Hensley:

“We never want to be a lobster — don't they have one big claw and one little claw? Is that lobster? Or is it some other clawed fish? I dunno. It's a crab, okay. So that's it.”

Although Harbaugh's knowledge of crustaceans may be limited, there is no question that he more than makes up for it in the football department.

The Ravens made headlines when they opted to change their entire offensive scheme to better fit quarterback Lamar Jackson's skill set. This approach paid huge dividends as he established himself as the frontrunner for MVP while leading the best rushing offense in the NFL.

Meanwhile, the defense has also more than held their own with stellar outings against some of the league's most high-powered offenses. Their decision to trade for cornerback Marcus Peters during the season clearly helped kick things up a notch on this side of the ball.

Harbaugh can now take solace in the fact that the Ravens are perhaps the only team remaining that boasts claws of equal size.
