The Baltimore Ravens signed Michael Crabtree this NFL offseason, and he was the new wide receiver that got all the buzz. Through the first couple weeks of training camp, it has been former Arizona Cardinals speedster John Brown that has snatched up all the headlines.

Brown broke out for the Cardinals in 2015, but the last two seasons he dealt with injuries including a sickle cell trait that slowed him down. He is healthy now, and Ravens coach John Harbaugh has been impressed with what he has seen.

“He has been better than we expected,” coach John Harbaugh said, via the Baltimore Sun. “Obviously, we've had high hopes for him, but [he's] better than advertised — probably even better than what the tape showed, I would say. He's been a complete receiver for us.”

Everyone knows that Brown is a speedster that can use his speed to get by most defensive backs. What most don't know is that he is a good route runner too. The most important thing for Brown is that he is finally healthy and he said that he is finally at a place where he is happy.

“I'm fully healthy, and they're taking care of me,” Brown said. “People don't even know the situation. They think I'm prone to injury. But I'm just at a place where I'm happy. They're taking care of me, and they understand me.”

If he can have a big season for the Ravens this year, he is just going to be another weapon that can stretch the field and give opposing teams headaches.
