If Baltimore Ravens kicker Justin Kicker retired today, he would go down as one of the best to ever play his position, but he thinks that he hasn't even hit his prime yet. Tucker is about to turn 30 years old, and a reporter asked him if he is starting to feel some of his age.

“I haven’t even hit my prime yet. I’ll leave it at that,” Tucker said with confidence via the Ravens team website.

Tucker is the leagues most accurate kicker at 90.1 percent, and those aren't all chip shots. He has attempted 263 kicks in his career and made 237 of them. Tucker has watched a lot of Adam Vinatieri, and it has given him a lot of hope that he can kick for a long time.

“[Adam] Vinatieri, 46, ain’t even hit his prime yet,” Tucker said. “The guy’s incredible. He’s one of my heroes in sports, in football. Watching guys like him, Phil Dawson, our own Matt Stover, Robbie Gould … seeing what those guys do, what they do, their age notwithstanding, it’s really incredible to watch.”

Figuring Tucker hasn't turned 30 yet and Vinatieri is 46, and still in the league, it wouldn't be shocking to see him play in the league for another 16 years.

Tucker tries not to experiment too much and has stuck with what has worked to get him to this point. He has been a weapon for the Ravens since coming into the league, and he is expected to be that again this year. The hope is that with the Ravens offense, he will be kicking a lot of extra points, and not a ton of field goals.
