The Baltimore Ravens were given quite a scare on Monday against the Cleveland Browns, as superstar quarterback Lamar Jackson was forced to exit the game with what appeared to be a leg cramp. The reigning NFL MVP had to leave during the fourth period, and as it turns out, it wasn't because Jackson had to take a quick trip to the bathroom.

A clip of Jackson jogging back to the locker room seemed to suggest that he had to answer nature's call.

While this might have been the case, Jackson, who tested positive for COVID-19 last month, seemed to have actually sustained a minor knock. The Ravens' Twitter account provided an in-game update on their QB's status.

Trace McSorley was asked to take the place of the injured Jackson. Incidentally, McSorley also sustained an injury, which forced him to make a quick exit as well.

The good news for the Ravens was that Jackson was able to return following McSorley's exit. This points to the fact that Jackson's injury isn't likely to be serious and that it was nothing more than a common leg cramp.

In true Lamar Jackson fashion, the 23-year-old came up with a huge play as soon as he returned. He threw a pinpoint pass that led to a Ravens go-ahead touchdown with less than two minutes remaining before eventually escaping with a 47-42 win.

You could not have written a better script for Jackson and the Ravens in what turned out to be a thriller of a contest against a determined Browns crew.

The Ravens improved to 8-5 and will next face the Jacksonville Jaguars.
