Baltimore Ravens superstar quarterback Lamar Jackson made a triumphant return to the field on Tuesday after his bout with COVID-19. The reigning league MVP did not look like he missed a beat, as he led the Ravens to a 34-17 win in their Week 13 matchup.

After the win, Jackson opened up about how the terrible experience he had battling the dreaded coronavirus:

“I'm good now,” Jackson said, via Jamison Hensley of ESPN. “I wouldn't wish that on anybody, though. It's not good to have.”

While his form may not have shown any rust, Jackson was clearly glad to be back on the field with his teammates. He literally hugged every single person in the huddle the moment he entered the field — something that he also spoke about after the contest:

“Ahh, it felt like I didn't play [for] a whole season. I was like, ‘It feels good to be back with my guys,'” Jackson said. “Even in practice, walking into the locker room and stuff, I was like, ‘Man, I couldn't wait to see you, your faces.' It was, like, two weeks that I didn't see those guys. I couldn't wait to get out there and perform for those guys, because I know how much it would mean for us to win games, for sure.”

The Ravens couldn't be happier to get their star QB back, especially considering how they're still vying for a spot in the postseason.

Baltimore's win over Dallas on Tuesday marked their seventh win of the campaign, as they sit on the third spot in the AFC North with a 7-5 record.
