There were a few quarterbacks who have been put on notice when their teams took a quarterback in the draft. After Mason Rudolph was taken by the Pittsburgh Steelers, Ben Rothlisberger expressed his “surprise” with the pick and wondered how it helps the team now.

He wasn't the only quarterback that appears unhappy, though. Lamar Jackson was taken by the Baltimore Ravens, which may be a strong sign that Joe Flacco's days as a Raven might be numbered. Jackson was asked after his first practice with his new team and Jackson said he hadn't.

No, I haven’t,” Jackson said. “No I haven’t.”

Although Flacco hasn't come out and said anything negative about the pick like Big Ben, the fact that Flacco hasn't even reached out to Lamar Jackson should tell a lot about how exactly he is feeling with the pick.

The Ravens are well within their right to take a quarterback as possible insurance in case Flacco, who has struggled in recent years, never plays as well as he once did. At the same time, though, it's just human nature for Flacco to feel a bit slighted by the franchise's move to take what could very likely be his eventual replacement. He did help win them a Super Bowl, after all.

Flacco will probably still be the starting quarterback this year, and there is a good chance they might use Jackson in some sort of wildcat package, so chances are good that both of these guys will see the field this year. But as to how the two QBs will co-exist, it'll be up to head coach John Harbaugh to make sure that relationship remains professional.
