The Baltimore Ravens went 14-2 in the regular season. That was the best record in the entire NFL, which meant they had a bye in the first round of the playoffs and home field advantage all the way to the Super Bowl.

However, they didn't last long. In their first game, they lost to the Tennessee Titans in the divisional round.

Not only was it a disappointing loss, but it was also their fifth straight year without a playoff win.

The last time the Ravens won a playoff win was back on January 3, 2015. In that game, they beat the Pittsburgh Steelers in the Wild Card round. They followed that up by losing to the New England Patriots in the divisional round. New England ended up winning the Super Bowl that year.

Since that win, the Ravens have appeared in three playoff wins. The one against the Patriots, then against the Los Angeles Chargers last season and finally the game against the Titans this year. All three have been losses.

The good news for the Ravens is the team they currently have. Jackson is the MVP of the season. He has some solid young weapons around him and a good defense. 2019 was not supposed to be as good as it was for them. While it ended in disappointment, it is certainly not a season anyone will look back on sadly.

The Ravens are built to compete for a long time. It's hard to imagine this Jackson led group won't find their way to a few playoff wins. And the smart money would be on them doing it sooner, rather than later.
