The Baltimore Ravens have activated Mark Ingram from the reserve/COVID-19 list, NFL Network's Ian Rapoport is reporting.

Originally testing positive with coronavirus on Nov. 23, Ingram was one of 20 total players that the Ravens had been forced to declare ineligible due to an outbreak of the virus. Though the team had been expected to headline the league's slate of games on Thanksgiving Day, the NFL was forced to delay Baltimore's match against the Pittsburgh Steelers, as well as subsequently push back their contest this week against the Cowboys to Tuesday night.

In addition to their starting running back, the Ravens will also welcome back defensive ends Calais Campbell and Jihad Ward, bringing the total number of players still on the COVID-19 list to 10.

Averaging a tidy 4.1 yards per carry on the season—to go along with 232 total rushing yards and two touchdowns on the season—Ingram had been in and out of the Baltimore lineup prior his positive coronavirus test due to a lingering ankle injury. Forced to miss two games as a result, the halfback's presence will likely provide a welcome boost to a club that has struggled to generate offense over recent weeks and mired in a three-game losing streak.

Perhaps even more critical to the Ravens' fortunes, however, will be the return of Campbell, who has paced the team's defensive line. Leading the the squad with four sacks, the 13th-year veteran has also accrued 24 tackles in eight games this year. Though he has failed to score a tackle for a loss on an opposing quarterback since Oct. 18 against the Eagles, the defensive end should have several prime opportunities against a Dallas club that has struggled all season protecting their signal-callers.
