Baltimore Ravens running back Mark Ingram has never been one to not have confidence. Evidently his attitude has that rubbed off on the rest of the team.

Ingram was a guest on ESPN's First Take with Stephen A. Smith. During the appearance, the talented back said that he knows the Chiefs and Patrick Mahomes are a special bunch, but claimed the Ravens aren't afraid of the Super Bowl Champions.

“Pat Mahomes is a monster man,” the Ravens back said to co-host Stephen A. Smith. “He’s a special player. His leadership, his accuracy, his arm strength. He can be mobile outside the pocket, he has it all. That’s why he was the MVP two years ago and that’s why he was the Super Bowl champ and the Super Bowl MVP this year. We respect him, but we’re not scared of him. We know they have a great team, but we also have a great team and we have a great quarterback in our guy LJ.”

Even though the Ravens might not be afraid of Mahomes and the Chiefs, the big-time showdown never happened during the 2019 playoffs because of Baltimore. The Ravens were the number one seed in the playoffs but were bounced in the second round by the Tennessee Titans.

That loss neglected the big showdown in the playoffs, but if both teams continue to be well stacked around Mahomes and Lamar Jackson, this could turn into the rivalry in the AFC that was once held by Tom Brady and Peyton Manning.
