Last week, the Baltimore Ravens and free-agent defensive tackle Michael Brockers agreed on a three-year deal worth $30 million. However, the signing has yet to be officially announced by the team and due to injury concerns, the deal might fall through.

Teams and players have had to find independent physicians to conduct physicals due to the precautions put in place by the league due to the coronavirus and it seems Brockers’ physical turned up an issue with a lingering ankle injury.

Per Jeff Zrebiec of The Athletic, the COVID-19 restrictions have made it hard for the Ravens to keep track of Brockers' condition and that that uncertainty has led to Baltimore considering other options.

According to Zrebiec, one of those options might have been veteran defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh. Unfortunately, Suh has reportedly opted to re-sign with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on a one-year deal.

As for Brockers, the 29-year-old defensive lineman was forced to leave the Los Angeles Rams' season finale against the Arizona Cardinals with a high ankle sprain. The injury did not require surgery but is still bad enough for the Ravens to be concerned about Brockers' future health.

In 16 games for the Rams last season, Brockers notched 63 tackles, nine QB hits and three sacks starting alongside superstar defensive tackle Aaron Donald.

If the Brockers signing goes through for Baltimore, the former first-round pick will join a Baltimore front seven that includes star players such as outside linebacker Matthew Judon and newly acquired defensive end Calais Campbell, whom the team acquired from the Jacksonville Jaguars via trade earlier in March.
