The Baltimore Ravens finally get a playoff win this season, beating the Tennessee Titans, 20-13. The Ravens have failed to win a playoff game in each of the last two seasons, so this win was long overdue.

Ravens star quarterback Lamar Jackson was taking a tremendous amount of heat due to his lack of playoff success. In fact, it was the very same Tennessee Titans that upset the Ravens in last year's postseason.

Not only was Jackson phenomenal in the road victory, but he was the pre-game motivator for the rest of the team as well.

In a post-game interview, Ravens All-Pro cornerback Marlon Humphrey spoke to the press and said that Jackson delivered a very motivational speech before the game, which usually never happens (via ESPN's Jamison Hensley).

Jackson has always been labeled a leader but never a vocal one. For their tame quarterback to express so much emotion and leadership pre-game meant that the Ravens were on a mission to get to the next round.

Humphrey said that after Lamar gave the speech, he went from being confident to saying out loud “I know we're going to win now.”

It's great to hear stories like that from Baltimore's young franchise quarterback.

It's hard to dislike Jackson. The humble leader has been incredibly successful so early in his career and is consistently showing signs of improvement and maturity as a quarterback. This was a huge morale win for Jackson and the Ravens.

Baltimore will look to play either the Buffalo Bills or the Kansas City Chiefs next week. Regardless of who gets matched up with the Ravens, get ready to have your hands full trying to defend Jackson.
