Vinicius Jr. recently agreed to stay with Real Madrid on a new four-year deal; however, Paris Saint-Germain apparently did their best to steal him from the Spanish club with a crazy offer.

According to Marca, PSG offered Vinicius Jr. a bonkers annual salary of €40 million (about $42 million). Per the same report, the Ligue 1 club were also ready to give the Brazilian youngster a “huge signing fee.”

PSG has reportedly targeted Vinicius Jr. for months now, pestering him since November in hopes that he would not renew with Real Madrid and instead choose a bigger payday.

Unfortunately for the French giants, the 21-year-old really loved the club and opted to stay despite the fact that they cannot give him the same amount of money that PSG offered.

Vinicius Jr. has been one of the brightest young players today, not only in La Liga but in the whole of European football. While he soared even more into popularity when he scored the lone goal in Real Madrid's 2022 Champions League win against Liverpool, he has been a consistent performer for the club.

In 2021-22, he scored 17 goals and made 10 assists for Real Madrid in the Spanish top flight. In the Champions League, he had four goals and set up six others.

It is no surprise why PSG badly wanted him and were willing to spend big to get his talents. However, his loyalty to Real Madrid cannot be bought.
