The Washington Redskins and the New York Giants faced off in a Week 4 matchup between NFC East rivals. Safety Landon Collins is in his first season with Washington, after spending the first four years of his career with New York.

After the game, Collins spoke on his emotions during his return.

It's hard to tell what this means. Collins could simply be observing something. Happy about his time with the Giants while being excited about his future with the Redskins.

Or this could a shot. It sounds like he's calling out the Giants a little bit here. This could be him pointing out that he didn't get to be himself in New York. That's at least certainly what it sounds like when reading this tweet.

It's unfair to speculate though.

However, with Washington at 0-4 that happiness has to be limited at the moment. Especially with all the uncertainty surrounding the team (such as the coaching staff and quarterback situation).

You also wouldn't really be able to blame Collins for not being all in love with his former team. After four very strong years to start his career, he was released. Then he signed with a divisional rival. You could see how maybe he's not the biggest fan of them at the moment.

As eluded to with the fact that Washington is 0-4, they did lose the game. The Redskins lost 24-3 and things couldn't be going much worse for them at the moment. Big changes could be coming and they will need their leaders, like Landon Collins, to step up big time if they want to turn this season into a positive.
