Free agent point guard Shaun Livingston has agreed to a 3-year, $24 million contract to remain with the Golden State Warriors, according to ESPN's Chris Haynes.

The 31-year-old was one of the two question marks of this free agency period along with sixth man Andre Iguodala who is fielding offers around the league.

Livingston's story is one for the books, originally drafted in 2004 by the L.A. Clippers and hampered by a myriad of injuries throughout his career, finally landing with Golden State in 2014 after playing for nine different teams through his first eight seasons, struggling to remain healthy during the early parts of his career.

A tall guard at 6-foot-7, Livingston has been one of the key cogs in the Warriors equation, providing enough size to match up with several positions defensively and a patented turnaround jumper that has left many players at his position helpless due to his size and elevation.

Livingston's deal is partially guaranteed, earning $8 million during his first two years and only $2 million in his last, according to ESPN's Zach Lowe.

The Warriors are reportedly trying to keep the books clear for 2019, when Klay Thompson‘s re-up would come to the forefront, according to Anthony Slater of the San Jose Mercury News.
